Vitor Belfort discusses his thoughts on UFC 112 and his return to the Octagon

UFC middleweight Vitor Belfort had a chance to conquer his third title in three different weights before a shoulder injury sidelined the Brazilian. He of course watched the fight on Saturday closely and was not impressed by the current champ.

Belfort, spoke Tatame Magazine, and had this to say:

“Well, I don’t have to say much about it. The audience and Dana White has already spoken for me. This is the way I’m feeling about it now. We think just the same. This answer was given by Dana and everyone else.”

How he is recovering from the shoulder injury and when, we’ll see him back in the Octagon:

“Pretty good. I’m in the middle of a treatment, going to the UFC’s doctor that Lorenzo (Fertitta) arranged for me. He’s really liking it. I’ll go there on Tuesday and we will establish the date of my comeback, between August and October.”

“Almost there. Doing leg preparation, a lot of running and physical preparation so that I don’t overload my shoulder. Now it the time to regain my shoulder’s moves, make it more stable. I can’t do much, but our cross training has been nice, preserving my weigh. It’s all going really, really well, never better. I’m motivated and exited.”
