Urjah Faber Suspended 6 Months! … And Other WEC 48 Suspensions

Last weekend the WEC made their first pay per view appearance. Faber vs Aldo was a stacked card full of tough fights, and many WEC fighters truly went to war. The medical suspensions from the card has been released, and it may come as a shock to see how many fighters will be sidelined in the coming months.

From MMAWeekly:

After a big event it is commonplace to see medical suspensions. Often times a high percentage of fighters will need to miss time to recoup after injuries sustained at an event. With 8 athletes medically suspended for 180 days following WEC 48, it provides proof of how hard everybody worked to put on a great performance.
